I’ve always been an advocate for perfection yet, when I heard Rachel Weisz talk about Blanche DuBois and how troubled yet how a perfect character she was, I felt intrigued. So, when I finally read the play, I realised how much I liked Blanche despite her traumas, the devil in her and how she is a victim to her culture. So, basically, since I read A Streetcar Named Desire, I came to appreciate much more certain flawed characters I’d never payed too much attention to.
(Sorry for the cheating 2 posts in a day!)
